EquiLien is built so a procurement, security, or compliance reviewer can clear it. Here is exactly what we collect, what we will never do with it, and how it's protected, in plain language, no number we can't stand behind.
Every field traces to Cook County's recorded instruments (deeds, mortgages, releases) and assessor records. No consumer-reported data, no credit-bureau data, is ever collected or merged. We observe the lien; we don't buy a guess about it.
EquiLien is not a consumer report and is not for FCRA-regulated eligibility: credit, insurance, employment, or tenancy. It is licensed for marketing and portfolio-monitoring only, and the not-a-CRA notice rides on every file header and API envelope.
Owner identity is masked on every web page; full owner attribution is delivered only through the entitlement-gated, licensed export and API. Servicer and registered-agent desks are flagged, never mis-attributed, and suppression requests are honored at every delivery.
Liens are observed off the instrument; equity is modeled on top, because value is always an estimate, and every field ships with a provenance tag and an as-of date. We publish the coverage denominator, 16.8% of framed parcels, on every screen.
TLS everywhere on an auto-renewing certificate; a strict Content-Security-Policy and HTTP security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, nosniff); signed sessions with no stored secret; login throttling; and per-key access audit logging. Access is invitation-only.
A DPA and usage terms are available on request. SOC 2 is on the roadmap and not yet certified: we'll tell you exactly where we are rather than imply a badge we don't hold. Email access@equilien.ai.
